MTV Trippin’ Random is hosted by Dharni, a revolutionary beatboxer from Singapore who transcends genres of music. He was the first person in history ever to win the Grand Beatbox Battle (GBB) twice in a row, and continues to participate as a judge for the championship. Over the years, Dharni has had the opportunity to perform in different parts of Europe and the world; he has performed at Mariah Carey’s concert and opened for artists such as Black Eyed Peas, Kanye West, Jin and Lady Gaga.

Graphic design, preparation of final artwork of large scale prints for SPOH 2024
Part of the team responsible for the inception, content planning, layout and printing of EYEYAH! magazine’s 4th issue.
This is an illustration-based branding assignment for which I chose to brand an opening ceremony for Nanyang Technological University’s Yunnan Garden.
The elements of the illustrations have been chosen in order to showcase the unique flora and fauna found in NTU, as well as to take into account the rich history behind Nanyang University and the Yunnan Garden and its traditional Chinese architecture. The human figures were depicted performing everyday activities that one might partake in at a public park/garden, reflecting NTU’s wishes for Yunnan Garden to be a place of public enjoyment and activity.
The accompanying motion graphic GIFs were animated by me and done as a separate projection mapping project and were projected onto a scale model on the Chinese heritage Centre at the Yunnan Garden.
‘I Can’t Fcous’ is a playful, tongue-in-cheek collection of pattern swatches and banner which depicts the thought processes that occur in an ADHD-riddled brain on music.
Music is a drug and for someone with ADHD it can take you on a bender. Loss of attention, constantly changing thoughts, as well as relief and reprieve from distractions are strong yet conflicting mental states which they may go through, and which this collection aims to depict.
Through the use of bright primary colours and brash motifs, as well as the in-your-face graphic style and seemingly abrupt and random transitions between scenes, this composition aims to replicate the mental noise and chaos experienced by an ADHD sufferer while listening to music.

This project aims to embody the essence of bird migration, migration paths and geographical locations that birds visit.
The migration patterns of birds extend beyond merely moving from one place to another; it is a symbol of interconnectedness, not just between countries, but also between species as bird often transport plant matter and seeds on their bodies while migrating.
By projecting a flock of birds birds onto a raised platform, the audience can interact by placing objects (dried plants cast in resin cubes) on the table. Each object will produce a different animation of tree rings on the platform at the location the person has placed it on, and the birds animation will flock towards the tree rings.
This works through AR fiducial marker detection; each object bears a different fiducial marker and a camera will detect the identity of the marker and produce the corresponding tree on the projection. The combination of tree rings and bird flock is a visual representation of the interconnectedness between birds and trees/plants, all part of nature.
